Okay, so some of you might also be following Blademaster Aio’s ongoing LP of Atelier Sophie, the first entry of the Mysterious trilogy. And then you’re reading THIS LP and wondering, “wait, I thought Plachta was supposed to be a book? Who is this silver-haired girl and what did she do with Plachta?”

To get her memories back, we transferred her soul into this doll. That’s Plachta as you know her now.

Dreams From the Heart

I’ve been meaning to ask the same thing. Just what is your dream, Sophie? With abilities like yours, I bet you can make any dream come true.

Hehehehe! I asked her the same thing, long ago.

Hahaha, I’m not keeping this a secret! I’ll tell you whatever it is you want to know. I’ve got two dreams. The first one is to give Plachta her human body back.

Ah, right. Plachta was originally human, wasn’t she…

That’s right. There are all sorts of differences between humans and dolls, after all. In order to live together like this, going forward, I want to turn Plachta back into a human. My other dream… is to use alchemy to make everyone happy!



I know. I started learning alchemy thanks to my grandma, who ran an atelier in my hometown. Whenever she used her alchemy, she’d always bring smiles to everyone’s faces! Seeing that, I wanted to be just like her. So I started wondering if I could use alchemy, too!

I see. That’s where you get “using alchemy for everyone” from?

So cool! I want to do that, too! I want to use alchemy to make everyone happy!

Yeah. Since I started my travels to restore Plachta, I haven’t been home once.

It’s been a while, then. You must be sad.

Yeah, of course I am. It’s good to see that everyone is doing well, though. …Right, that settles it! Once Plachta is human again, I’m going to go and show my face back home! I don’t think it will take much longer, either.

Yep! I’m close to finding the final item I need to restore Plachta. I’m still working on the recipe, but it needs one final push.
